For our horsetreks, we need you to email us or phone us for an appointment the day before. We won't be able to take you in on the day as we usually are fully booked each day.
Where do we go? We ride through a pine forest, very close to us , cross a river, and then some more pine forest, on to a 300 acre dairy farm, bordering to the Kamai ranges with native bush, then we get a fantastic view over the KatiKati harbour, rolling hills, the ocean, the Mount, Tauranga, and Mayor Island.
We take a 10 minute break for photo shoot oppertunity and some muffins and drink and a rest for the horses. This ride is 1 1/2 hours all up. ( not including the rest time)
Other treks we take people on are: A ride to the river swimming hole, bring abackpack, your togs and towel, and some food and drink. This ride is 3 hours . So make that one afternoon if you want to swim in the river.
We also do a 2 hour treks that takes you higher and is more for experienced riders as we have steep slopes from the high places, but also more amazing views.
